About Us

The Solomons are a Chabad family from Australia and the US, serving the Jewish community in Bolivia.

Rabbi Abraham Solomon is a Torah scholar, Jewish community leader and hospitality professional with degrees in International Relations and Business Management. Born in Bolivia and raised in Australia, he worked at Hilton Sydney, supervising members of the prestigious Les Clefs d’Or concierge association. He studied under Rabbi Y. Ulman of Bondi Beach Chabad and was mentored by the late Rabbi Eli Schlanger, HYD.

Together with his wife, Merav, he leads Jewish Bolivia, a U.S. 501(c)(3) nonprofit dedicated to revitalising Jewish life across the country. Known for his inspiring shiurim, warmth, enthusiastic singing and dedication to Jewish unity, Rabbi Abraham recently had the zechut of receiving Bolivia’s only currently verified kosher Sefer Torah.

Merav is a former journalist, think-tank director, and CEO, having worked with the World Bank and international media. She has organised galas, conferences, events and retreats around the world — from Glastonbury in the United Kingdom to Rio de Janeiro and Israel. Today she and her husband love raising their kids in Bolivia and helping the local Jewish community.

Their passion is to revitalise Bolivia’s Jewish community through a deep love of Torah and Am Yisrael, infusing Jewish life with renewed joy, connection, and excitement for our beautiful heritage. Together, they bring that spirit to this luxury Pesach retreat, combining attentive hospitality with an inspiring Pesach experience and a meaningful connection to the Jews who call Bolivia home.
